Default Is It Bad....

that because im sick im on a liquid diet? my throat hurts to swallow anything huge...but ive been living off tea and chicken broth juice and water...i can barely talk unless im drinking something at the moment. is it true that gatorade keeps you hydrated AND puts electrolytes back in your body?? because my mom said that that's what i should be drinking too...

Yes you need Electrolytes to keep your body strong and healthy but go to a health food store and find something thats does the same things with all the sodium. If you can't get to a health store ask your local pharmacist what they would recommend.

well I'm really no expert and I expect you are already doing this if you are ill, but take lots of vitamins to replace any you may lose from your current diet.

get well soon!

With the symptoms you've mentioned, it sounds exactly like me when I had bronchitis, only I had a fever on the first day. It's possible that your tonsils are just inflamed and the pain of swallowing might subside in a day or so. Otherwise, see your doctor.
