I tried before to maintain a diary but I didn't continue for long and I stopped. Taking good amount of water during the day & preventing alcohol really will help as I tried it myself. Also avoid binging. You should have a well-balanced diet as Amira_25 explained. It helps if you cut down bread and certain sugary and fatty food for the beginning. Good luck
