Talking Dental Care

How to brush and floss the teeth?
For brushing the teeth:

Keep a little quantity of toothpaste that contains fluoride on the toothbrush.
Try to utilize a back and forth movement to toothbrush the crown of the molars. Ensure to clean the teeth very well.
One should also try to use forth movement to clean the edges of the teeth.
One should clean the tongue after brushing the teeth.

For flossing the teeth:
Try to utilize a thread about 18 inches for flossing. Cover the part of floss just about the center finger of hand. There must be approximately one inch of thread between the fingers.

Hold the floss between the index finger and thumb of a hand.
Begin with the lower front teeth, after that floss the upper part of frontage teeth. And then, work around to another teeth.
One should floss carefully between the teeth unless it accomplishes the gumline. Curve the thread for flossing just about the side of the teeth in C shape and slide it down and up the edge of every tooth.
Correct the floss a slight each time while flossing a fresh tooth, therefore the floss is dirt free for everyone.

It's amazing how much dental hygiene affects our entire body and our overall health, not to mention what it can add or subtract to our appearance. I need to take better care of my teeth as well. I should be brushing and flossing more often, but I do stay away from sugary foods and sweets.

It's great to see a post here about the importance of good Dental Health. As a Dental Hygienist, I see first hand the problems that can occur because of the bacteria in our mouths.
People don't seem to understand that all that bacteria we have in our mouths gets swallowed and can enter our bloodstream.
New studies are linking poor oral care with all kinds of health problems especially heart attacks, stroke, pre-mature births, and diabetes.
It doesn't take that long to brush well and floss. Just about 5 minutes a day.
Chew on that.

I think you can find toothpaste without flouride if you go to some health food stores. Other than that, all of the commercial brands do have flouride, which is like poison if you swallow it.
