I recommend that you use only one facial cleanser, not two.
If you over cleanse your face, you'll reduce your skins' ability to rebalance its pH level, thus your skin will be more prone to drying out. The rest of your beauty regimen seems sound.

... More information please? Did you try your regimen as it's listed? Is this a new regimen? Did you add any new products? Are you combining products? Are they made for the same skin type? Do you have any allergies or skin sensitivities? I can go on and on... We need details please ![]()

ok.
I apparently have sensitive skin and I used wipes for sensistive skin (nivea visage gentle facial clensning wipes for dry and sensitive skin) Ididn't exfoliate cause I don't really know what I'm meant to do. and I didn't do a face wash with the neutral soap because I was adviced not to plus I haven't got the soap yet I moisturized with nivea lotion non-greasy for normal skin, light moisturizing cleansing lotion. Also sinse I haven't had many wipes on the second day I only used the wipe in the evening ans same with moisturizer. |

Ok, cool... Three things... 1) After using the Nivea wipes, (I am taking an educated guess here, and that you have followed the directions). Use a toner for dry, sensitive skin. 2) Even though you are using a non-greasy moisturizer, you need to use one for dry, sensitive skin. How long have you been using the one for normal skin? 3) Your using another cleansing lotion... Pick either the wipes, or the cleansing lotion, not both. And just by reading your post a few times. I wouldn't even bother with the neutral soap at all. Also, how's your diet? Is it balanced, are you a vegetarian? Are you taking any vitamin suppliments? Medications? Birth control? Do you drink lots of water? Do you have any allergies? These are important factors that you need to consider as well. Also, you're 14, so your hormones are raging too... When your skin breaks out suddenly like what you have described, especially after starting a new cleansing regimen, two things are happening. 1) Your skin is reacting to over stimulation. In your case, you're over cleansing it. Remember, you have sensitive skin, not normal. Be gentle... Please ![]() 2) It takes 7 to 14 days for any skin's pH to rebalance itself when starting a band new skin care/cleansing routine. Based on your original post. This seems to be a new cleansing routine for you, plus you have sensitive skin. I suggest that you start your cleansing regimen lightly, and just do a night time cleansing routine for at least a week to start. Exfoliate at day 14 to start, NOT BEFORE. (Get one for sensitive skin) and then do it only once a week thereafter. Use a light moisturizer without SPF. I know this sounds contrary, remember, your sensitive skin is reacting... Wear a hat and minimize your exposure to sun. When your skin does settle down, use an SPF for sensitive skin. (Most sunscreens on the market are not good for sensitive skin). Ok, lets say you did this for 14 days and you skin is still breaking out. I would then look at any of the ingredients to see if you are allergic to any of them. Or better yet, get an allergy test done by your family doctor to know for sure if you have any allergies. Skin care is a long process, so take your time with it. I deal with celebrities and they need to look good in front of the camera and in public. So they need to fast-track their beauty routine. How do they do it without their skin reacting? They get professional consultations done. And this is how they go about it. - Allergy testing - Dietician - Skin care analysis - Physical trainer - Self discipline When it comes to make-up, we use very little of it, because their skin is already really healthy... At any age. HTH ![]()

Good question. Your last post sounded like you had a major break out. Typically, you would follow your (listed) routine. For your morning cleanse, use your preferred method. Just make sure your skin break outs are becoming less. And yes, definately use a moisturizer (for sensitive skin) before you apply your make-up. You just raised an interesting question. What kind of make-up are you using? (liquid, creme, powder?), How old is it? How do you apply it? Or rather what do you apply it with? This is a whole new ball of wax when factoring in why your skin is breaking out as well.

I hadn't worn make up when I had spots which were round my mouth only really) but I don't use foundation etc. just eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, if I do. If I did this would it work...
Morning: brush teeth etc. moisturize (nivea lotion light moistrizing and cleansing lotion) [and then after a while use one with an spf] lypsyl Evening: brush teeth etc. nivea cleansing wipes for dry skin exfoliate ?? once I know what to do. lypsyl |
