Default Infected navel piercing

So i have had my navel pierced for over 2 years now, and have never had any problems with it, except for recently.
Its not red, but its sore and a few days ago if i put slight pressure on it, some pus would leak out.
I have been doing a sea salt soak almost every night (i get lazy), and was wondering if this was enough, or should i be doing something more?
I have recently started seeing a chiropractor (been diagnosed with scoliosis) so i am wondering if laying flat on my stomach and being pushed into place everywhere may be the cause of it? Just a thought

Thanks for the help

whenever any of my piercings (all ear though, not navel) act up, I usually apply tea tree oil which tends to sort them out after a few days. Ditto antiseptic spray like Savlon (don't know if you have that where you are. It's basically a first aid wound spray type thing).
Both of those were recommended to me by the guy who pierced me, but like I say, that's for ears rather than navel.
You could always just go to a piercing place and ask them to have a look at it, the people I go to are always really nice about it

Well the infection is gone, but i am still having problems with the piercing itself.
Now i have noticed that after i go to the chiropractor, i come out and there is a small amount of blood around the bottom hole. I have ordered some bioplast navel rings offline, hoping this will help.

Can you just take it out while at the chiropractor that might help.

Thanks ladies for your replies!!!
My belly button piercing is doing great!! I got the bioplast rings in the mail a few weeks ago and put it in. They are flexible, so when i go to the chiropractor, it doesnt get irritated. It has stopped migrating (which i believe was also due to the chiropractor), no more bleeding, no more infection, just like i have never went to the chiropractor.
I deffinatly recommend bioplast jewellery!!!
