Wink Coke, tanning, and etc

Take an put coke all over you. Now lay out. Will last for six months. Women here at our club do this, for a nice tan.

Pour a can of coke in your laundry, for greasy clothes.

Pour coke all over icy car windows. Melts it fast.

Remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers. Wad up tin foil and dip in coke. Now scrub.

I have never heard of using coke to tan! Does it really work or will I burn and be a big burnt sticky sweet mess?

Definitely NOT a good idea to use it to on car windows or bumpers, the acid in Coke will ruin your paint!
As for the tanning, that sounds like a myth, too.

I am good friends with a chemist and he said that coke can completely dissolve a penny over time (he has done the experiment)- that stuff is SCARY- I will never drink it!!!

Chrome bumpers??? They haven't been on cars since the early '80's if at all. Definately in the 1970's

Which is why it is must likely to have rust on it. And of course you wouldn't want to use coke (or even just tin foil) on a new color with a painted bumper.

Well, the point being, there are no cars that old on the roads anymore. You're lucky to even see a mid 90's car on the roads nowadays.

Painted bumpers don't rust, since they're all plastic and rubber covering the end (crumple zone) steel frame structure of a vehicle.

Seems we all agree on this thread, Coke on anything is not good.

This goes back to using Baby oil for tanning, just plain gross...

When I was in high school, the popular myth was to use Crisco. Ick!
