The good thing about hitting rock bottom is the only other way to go is UP.

first of all, those things arent petty those are your feelings and you should never be ashamed or hide them.
drugs and drinking may make you feel better for awhile but in the long run they will make your mental state so much more worse.(personal expierence) as for only having 2 friends.. its better to have 2 GOOD friends rarther than 100 BAD friends. no disrespect to your parents but if you think anti-depressants were helping you then that's the way to go. it does not make you any less of a person and over time you will not need them think of them as stepping stones and in time you will be able to control yourself. and judging by your post i think your a very brave person to open up and say what you feel. you've openly admitted you need help and that is the first step to getting better and you will.

once something is out it will be blown away like a leaf and fade like a scar.

i've been feeling like you from the age of 5 it was ignored and only now am i starting to get help and doing whats right for me. its your mind, there your feeling and your emotions do whats best for you and then you can truly help others.

Best wishes.

oh megan, i have been there myself for the last 5 years but you are so young. i think you are right. you should go see a doctor and tell the doc how depressed you are. you might have to see another therapist but i know for a fact there are good ones out there. i grew up in a family that my parents fought all the time too. the pot and drinking isn't doing you anygood. don't you have friends that don't do that? i don't know what i would do without my prozac! i work 52 hrs a week just to keep my head above water. i have read your remarks on here many times. you seem to be very sane and very smart about what you talk about. you are probably very pretty. i have long hair too but i am a way older. i am probably one of the oldest people on this forum. i also live in the middle of nowhere. but it is so much harder when you are so young. are you going to go to college? you have so much to give and i am glad you spoke out here. you have a loving heart and you are able to help other people. remember that. life is tough but woman are tougher. you can overcome this situation. go to see a doctor. but cut back on the booze and pot. they can cause some serious brain damage later on in life. moderation. hope i helped, sending you blessings.
