Angie it sound like your burning off more calories than your taking in, also 1500 calories is not much, at some point your body believes it starving so it starts storing fat for when there is no food.
Try to eat 5 or 6 small meals a day to try to get you metabolism up, also carbs are not all bad and you body needs some for energy and to burn fat.
My suggestion to you is to go to a diabetics website for menu ideas or weight watchers, both incorporate healthy eating and balance. I hope this makes sense.

Thanks Judi. Yes maybe that's the problem, that my body is storing fat for hard times. So I'll be more patient.

I cook the menus from Gene and Joyce Daoust. My husband lost 20 pounds in 6 weeks with it.

Exams ... oh ... I really should be revising for psychology on Tuesday but I really, really can't bring myself to do it. This year feels like an entire waste to be honest. Lecturers walking in and out, no organisatin and motivation, or lack thereof with me.
And ... yet ... even though this is primary in my life, I'm still thinking about men ...
Oh I hate humanity ... lol.
