How to add reputation

Hi guys....can u tell me how to give someone a green rep to add reputation?
I never gave any, n I really want to give it to someone someday

You can give reputation points (green or red) to anyone for his/her any post.

Just click on the 'icon' on the top-right side of the post as I have shown (in the red circle) in the attached picture.

Then select "I approve" to give green rep

hey....I wanna ask something again if that's OK....I found that sometimes we get 10 points sometimes just 1....n the comment is sometimes....'your reputation is even in this forum' or 'somewhat positive....'

I just wonder, how can we decided the number of point we r going to give? or the admin decided it???? just curious to know.....

Oops, I almost forgot to answer this.
Well, here you go, actually if a user having a good reputation gives reputation points to someone, it will be counted more. And if a user having less reputation gives reputation points, it will be counted less. This is the way it works, and it's all automatic

Hope this clears your doubt. Let me know if it doesn't.

I think that has something to do with how many people have "added to your reputation"...you got some pretty mean Rep Power, vogueboy.

If a person 'A' having Rep Power 10 gives reputation to a user, the user's reputation will increase by 10, and if 'A' gives negative reputation, the user's reputation will decrease by 10. So, it is actually the power by which you can alter the user's reputation based on his/her post.

I hope the meaning of "Rep Power" is clear now It is based on several factors like the number of posts by the user, his own reputation points etc.
