We got within half a mile of being caught in a tornado Saturday!

We were traveling and ran into some severe weather on the way back into Oklahoma, so we stopped at a convenience store to see if they knew what was happening with the weather, and found out there was an F4 tornado heading that way. They closed the store and made everyone leave. Any way, we headed south (away from the storm), but it turned and we were almost caught again. We thought we were far enough south of it, so we went west to go around behind it, and we ended up being less than half a mile away from it. I got some really awesome pictures of the tornado on my cell phone. I'm trying to figure out how to send them to my email address so I can put them on Myspace.

are you ever pretty Judi! ....well.....I got my first call to do supply work today with Grade 2's and 3's and I loved it! The only thing is- I was called in to be a "French Teacher" and my french is pretty pathetic by I faked it and the kids bought it and we had a great day!

hahaha sounds like fun! I'm glad you liked it- pretending to speak french is v trés amusing (I do it quite a lot as my brother and some of my friends speak french, so I try unsuccessfully to join in. the only thing is can really say is "I'm Hungry" which will always come in handy!!!)

incidentally, I can also say "I'm Hungry" in spanish and russian too. It's really a very important phrase
