My puppies ran away!!!!

We had a really windy day yesterday and it blew our back gate open. I went to let them in for the night since it was supposed to be REALLY cold that night- like 30 degrees, and they were gone! Gone! I'm trying not to cry because they are purebred Labs, very cute and unspayed females, and so so FRIENDLY someone could easily snatch them up.

I called the local animal shelter this morning and they said my dogs were picked up...but when my bf and I got there, it was a totally different set of puppies. Man, I was so upset. I'm making fliers to post up around the neighborhood. Did you know a dog can roam 5 miles in a 24 hour period? I've got a lot of ground to cover....

Thanks for all the well wishes but I haven't found them yet. I've put up flyers all over the neighborhood, gone door to door, went to the city's animal shelter. Nothing.

I called the shelter and described the pups and she told me that they were there. So my bf and I immediately hopped in the car to get them. When we got there, the pups were not even remotely what I described. They were cute, but they were red and blackish-grey mutts. The front desk attendant was like 'Oh, sorry.' Don't mean to be rude, but if you work at an animal shelter, then you should at least have some knowledge of dog breeds and colors. If someone says 'I lost two labs. One is chocolate and one is black.', I wouldn't recommend two dogs that aren't remotely labs. She actually said they could be a lab-pepper mix. Has anyone heard of a pepper dog? I haven't. UGH!!!!! I hate this.....

Oh.......... very very sad.I wish they come back soon.I can understand your feelings. I cried a lot when my parents gave away my sweeeeeeeeeeet little puppies.Its very painful when your pets whom you love alot gone somewhere.Oh i miss them aloooooooooot.
