They are very easy to prepare and give great results only you have to be consistant. one of my favourite face mask recipe is one of my favourite masks is the sugar mask with lemon peels. take equal proportions of grained sugar and powdered lemon peel, mix them with a bit of milk so that it makes a paste , apply it on to your face and when it dries wash off with warm water. you can apply this mask once a week. it will not only smoothes your skin but will also add shine and brightness to your complexion. For more such face mask recipies please see Homemade Natural Face Mask Recipes

It is good for the skin and will help detoxify it! also a nice long bath with it is wonderful for relaxation and detoxification. But the scrub makes your face feel fabulous!!!
Mix together and soak entire head, your hair will feel like a mess lol tie it up in a bun and wrap in a towel or old tee and go to bed, leave it on for a couple extra hours before you go to sleep and when you wake up in the morning. Shampoo and condition like normal preferably with a nourishing shampoo and conditioner and this will restore life and luster to your hair!!

So, I have decided to give the oil cleansing method a shot. I remember trying it way back in the day, but this was before i was dedicated to cleansing my skin, so i probably gave up after a week lol.

Anyways, back to it. I did a 50/50 mix of castor oil and sunflower oil, with a few drops of tea treee oil. I read some reviews online, and altho the common mix is castor oil and evoo, some people have had problems with the evoo, since it is so thick and may clog pores, i just avoided it altogether, and chose a more recommended oil, sunflower.
I have gradually added it to my skin routine. In the morning I am still washing my face with my clean and clear morning burst shine control cleanser. Then at night I have been doing the oil cleansing method, followed by a homemade toner made of 3parts apple cidar vinegar to 1part witch hazel, with a few drops of tea tree oil. Then i follow this with my clean and clear moisturizer.

I am eventually hoping to completely eliminate the clean and clear products, but i didnt want to do it all at once, because i was afraid my skin might freak out from shock, so im gradually changing my routine, and switch to a natural moisturizer, I was thinking either aloe vera or vitamin e cream, but am open to suggestions. Im going to go visit my local health store too to see what they carry.

Ill keep yous posted on how everything turns out.

Switching to a natural regimen?

Lets start off by me saying I have pretty good skin, but have been noticing more breakouts then normal. I have religiously washing my face morning and night with Clean and Clear morning burst shine control (the green bottle stuff), followed by the moisturizer from that line at night. I do not apply moisturizer in the morning, because my skin will become an oil slick.
I have oily skin by the way lol.
I also have the scrub from that line, and exfoliate in the shower, every 3rd day or so.

So the natural regimen i was considering trying was doing an oil cleansing method (using probably a 60% castor oil with 40% grapeseed oil and a few drops of tea tree oil), followed by a witch hazel toner, then pure aloe vera as a moisturizer.
I feel pretty good about the cleanser, but i am unsure of the witch hazel toner, and the aloe vera moisturizer. Just wondering what other options there might be for a natural toner and moisturizer.

Thanks for any help, and sorry about being so long winded lol.
