I love the 40tys and 50tys. Those tailored dresses really do it for me. When I was little I would spend hours watching movies from these eras and I would dream of wearing clothes like this. Then the movie would be over and I was back in the 70tys. How depressing was that! Hahahaha

The makeup looks of the 40's were so beautiful.. although the products then were so much heavier than the ones that are made now. So many makeup formulations now actually protect and improve the skin, which is wonderful.
