I swear by my personal trainer. I'd be totally out of shape without her! I used to belong to a gym, but I never would go, and then I found Anna here and she comes to my house twice a week whether I feel like it or not. If you're serious about getting in shape, hire someone to keep you honest. Seriously.

my fitness secret is COMMITMENT. I am commited in the sense that no matter what, I somehow drag my self to the gym and do what I am supposed to do, to keep in shape...

I am just now getting into exercising. The way that is working best is when my best friend and I do it together. We both keep putting it off alone and both desperately need to get into shape. We make it fun by putting on music, it's something I'm actually looking forward to now. Here's hoping we can both shed the pounds soon enough

My doctor has told me to lose weight due to a health issue. I had really been having a lot of trouble with my acid reflux, I even ended up in the emergency room one night. So now I watch what I eat very strictly! No junk here! LOL And I go walking most evenings, or workout to whatever program catches my eye on the fitness channel on tv (we have sattellite).

Actually, I'd lost a lot of weight in the past on Weight Watchers (on their points program), and since I still have my books, I decided to do it again. I'd reccomend Weight Watchers to anyone who wants to lose weight in a healty way!

Yes, I walk as much as possible. I mainly just eat poultry and fish. I drink a lot of water. I keep my weight maintained this way.

In hot parts of the world, people drink hot soup or chilli peppers, as that helps in sweat which takes out impurities and helps to keep those people lean ^-^

Pilate & Yoga are compared to one another often, and for good reason. They have many of the same qualities, but they are not the same. You will achieve very different results. In yoga,it's a much broader system, which includes what we call core strengthening and also includes things like flexibility training as well as deep relaxation, meditation type skills.
