lol, when you add reputation to someone, you can either add bad or good reputation. I'm guessing when you are given bad rep, your "rep power" goes down.

if you click on user cp on the top of the page, scroll down and you can see what comments people have given, and whether they've given you good or bad rep, but you cant see who gave you that comment.
