it's a weird concept for a program. It's been around for ages and is the first reality tv i really watched.
basically it's about twelve or 13 people put in a house for however long (this year it's 13 weeks) and they have no contact with the outside world at all. Once a week someone is voted out by the public, and eventually, in the final, the winner gets a lot of money. There is also "Big Brother" obviously inspired from the goerge orwell novel 1984, which is just a voice. I cant really explain it any better than that lol. It's one of the only tv programs that actually takes over the nation (in britain) and all the tabloids are talking about it.
Although once the housmemates are out, they do a few scantily clad photo shoots (the women do, anyway) and then kind of disappear. I don't know why anyone would want to go on it really, but it's very entertaining.

Thanks Rose for explaining in detail . I think a friend of mine mentioned about something like that. Now I think some time back I saw these 'scantily clad' photos in one of those celebrity gossip mag;s saying that its a winner of some TV programme....

Thanks for sharing your tattoo story! You are a brave woman. I have thought about it. My sister got one about ten years ago--a rose on her ankle. I have a best friend who came to visit from Pennsylvania. She told me that she always wanted to get her eyebrows tattoed with permanent makeup so I took her to a woman whose work I trusted. At the time she was my manicure lady and she did a day spa thing where you could get pedicure/manicure/facial/and massage for $100 bucks! Anyway, my friend said the same thing you did, it hurt but not unbearable. I watched the whole time and I was in pain!

It's not as bad as some poeple would have you believe. I say, if you want it, go for it! Later you'll wonder why you ever waited so long to do it. I know that's how I feel, any way.
