okay this may sound cliche' but i wanted to let you all know that i was just at a friends house for the past few days (taylor is without a doubt my best friend and i actually mean that) and we got to talking about careers, and how close high-school is, and how in only four years there'll be no more living at home depending on our parents. this is actually pretty scary considering for the past 13 years i have been incredibly naive about it and it hit us like a brick wall that this is it this is the only childhood we will ever have. and we got to talking about careers, now everybody has probably wanted to be great or change the world at one point. and for the longest time that's what i thought i wanted. but i came to realize that it would be a lot harder and i don't have the talent or the resources or brains to do something like that. so i decided to try and think of something that would be a suitable career, pays decent, and wouldn't require too much moving or money. and you won't beleive what i decided on... i want to be a beautician. because i've always been about freedom of expression, and it would be nice to help people with that. :]

And what's worse, I'm willing to work for it, which scares me. So I suppose I'm plugging my nose and taking the plunge; let's show those rookies how it's done. ![]() |

That's great! Good luck in finding your career path
![]() As you go through the education system, you'll find more and more options open up to you, even jobs you've never even heard of! I'm sort of narrowing my options down now in college- I wanted to be a doctor, up until about a year ago (around about the same time I found out you needed A level Chemistry to go into medicine) and now I'm quite into all the subjects I've chosen, I really found out what I enjoy, what I don't and what I can see myself doing years from now. It's really very interesting to find these things out about yourself ![]() I wish you all the best luck! xxx |
