Smile Getting tired of looking the same as everyone else

I think it is really boring trying to get with the fashion or in when then everyone looks the same. That's surely is boring. Also how alot of people love to have brand name clothes.I think what creats a fashion is by being different,i like to creat my own way of fashion.Where ever I might go to go shopping ladies always ask me for an advise,i do tell them but i also tell them that i don't work where ever i might be.What's your fashion sense?

I am like funky with some classic pieces thrown in to give it an interesting mix, so I tend to layer.

I like to have some good basic pieces and some cute trendy pieces. Some days I feel more inspired to "create" an outfit, and other days I just want to reach for whatever is closest. Either way, I want to look nicely put-together, I don't wear clothes that look sloppy or baggy.

I like to go for the 'timeless' fashion look (aka wearing clothes I bought about 4 years ago). I never seem to be able to justify spending out on clothes, even when I clearly need some new ones!! Generally I wear jeans (blakc, navy or light blue) and some kind of plain coloured top. occasionally witha jacket or cropped cardigan. seriously, I have such a boring style!

I think all it takes is minor tweaks to creat your own style. Do your hair differntly, be creative with your makeup (not too creative , your eye liner, etc. Your fashion jewelry picks.... you don't have to be way out there to be different, you can even keep the clothing main stream if you like and just be creative with the accessories.

I try to mix classic flattering pieces with at least one funky surprise. My pet peeve is when people wear clothes that are either way too tight or way too baggy. It makes everything smack of cheap. Inexpensive clothes can look great if they are the right fit.

Ah, the lazy girl that I am, t-shirt and jeans, plainly.
Though my t-shirts always have something interesting on them, a band's logo or something from a movie, etc.
For me it's more about accessories and hair than basic pieces, if you do things right nobody notices how simple the outfit is.

Chinadoll,

I totally agree with you. I don't like it when everyone looks the same. So when I dress up, it's always something people wouldn't usually wear.

I live in Hawaii and it's awkward to dress up like how everyone does in the mainland.. but I do it anyway. I like being different, everyone here usually dress casual...but i'm not one of them. woohoo.

It's nice being different you know. ;P
