What would you do?

What I don't like about other ladies is that it is very hard to trust them because no one knows who is genuin .There was a time when I wanted to know where this lady got her boots ,it was fly boots but i didn't want to put her off, if you know what I mean.Even when I wanted to complement some strange ladies that they might have fly clothes but I figure they would think that I wanted to copy their type of style of clothes .So what would you do or say if you liked their style of clothes?Would you go up to them or kept it to yourself?

I always say what I am thinking and I have never got an ill response on a compliment.

Oh, absolutely I go out of my way to compliment a part of a persons' wardrobe or accessory. It keeps my creative juices going and it inspires me for next shoot.

It also tells me, do people really follow what's in the fashion magazines? And, how did they interpret those looks?

I've had complete strangers compliment my clothing or shoes, or handbag or whatever happened to have caught their eye. I've also given compliments to complete strangers when I've noticed some item they have that looks great. I think it gives the self-esteem a boost to hear others say something positive about you.

I agree, Blackbird. I'll get a random comment on my shirt, or hair and it just brightens my day, so I try to compliment whatever catches my eye on even total strangers. There's nothing like seeing somebody smile like that.

Not around here!!! Everybody thinks they are better than the next and you don't compliment anyone around here because they will just give you a nasty look and walk away, people are horrible here-It's sad...
