Upon the discussion of expensive chinchilla fur jackets (i.e. 75,000$), the thought arose; what other small creatures were skinned for this purpose?

This one was a bit more unusual.

I'm a little curious as to why they chose to make it emerald green....

Any way, I've long been against fur coats.

Wow that is bad bad bad, why would you kill animals to make clothes, specially with so many sinthetic products!

Well, historically, that's what humans have been doing for thousands of years. In more recent times, we now breed them for that purpose and also for their meat.

Unfortunately, It's all commercial mass production with little or no compassion towards their well-being while they are in captivity.
