Default remedies and tips to make your hair strong, healthy and thick.

hii everyone, i've got some good stuff for you, hope it helps:

first you have to do at leat henna once a month, if your hair is oily just add half a lemon, if its dry add yoghurt to it and if u want extra nourishing effect add teh white of an egg to it after leaving teh henna two hours before you put it on your hair.

second, always concentrate teh conditioner on the ends of the hair more than your head because the ends tend to be weaker.

third, do a hot oil treatment once a week not more than that because too much oils causes hairloss. do that treatment with aloe vera oil or a mix of good oils like castor or vegetable oil, there are plenty of oils that good for teh hair but dont use olive oil, i've tried it and its not good, anywayz get the oil and put it in a bottle and put that bottle in a middle of a hot water to heat up the oil a little bit and then put teh oil on your hair but not too much oil and rap a hot towel around your head for 20min and then wash with a little amount of shampoo.

fourth, you have to get your hair trimmed every 6 weeks to mantain its health.

fifth. take a good vitamin supplement.

sixth.dont wash your hair everyday and dont comb it alot.

if you follow these tips trust me you will get your hair in wonderful shape and it will prevent hairloss also.

this isnt true, believe me i have done a lotta research of tht since i wash my hair daily... sm ppl with oily scalp or the environment being full of dust 'must' wash thr hair daily, jst make sure the shampoo type is right...always use a mild shampoo and it shld b washed out properly

hair must b combed but gently n using a wide toothed comb if thy're wet since it boosts blood circulation. However a lot of brushing isnt advisable since it may harm hair leading to hairloss

I disagree with some of this, but mean no offense.

You have to be careful if you use henna. Once you start using it, you cannot change your hair color without having it stripped first. If you want to strengthen your hair, you can use a form of clear henna called 'cassia obovata'. It adds no color, but does help with shine.

second, always concentrate teh conditioner on the ends of the hair more than your head because the ends tend to be weaker.

The ends of your hair are the oldest and must be pampered. If you keep them hydrated, you will not have to cut them very often. If you use products with silicone, you will have damaged ends, as the silicone can only be removed with clarifying shampoos. The silicone does not allow any moisture to get to your ends. Using 'cone free conditioners are best for healthy length and ends. Keeping your ends 'drippy' while your hair dries is excellent for them. Also apply a dab of conditioner (cone free) with a drop or two of jojoba oil to them while they are wet.

third, do a hot oil treatment once a week not more than that because too much oils causes hairloss. do that treatment with aloe vera oil or a mix of good oils like castor or vegetable oil, there are plenty of oils that good for teh hair but dont use olive oil, i've tried it and its not good, anywayz get the oil and put it in a bottle and put that bottle in a middle of a hot water to heat up the oil a little bit and then put teh oil on your hair but not too much oil and rap a hot towel around your head for 20min and then wash with a little amount of shampoo.

Actually, doing a hydrating deep treatment is better for your hair than an oil treatment, they are finding out. Use a mix of 1/3 part cone free conditioner , 1/3 part honey and 1/3 part clear aloe vera gel. Mix it well and apply to wet hair. Put a plastic hair cap on, wrap a towel over that, and surf the internet, or do housework, or whatever, for at least two hours. Rinse well with warm water, then rinse with cold/cool water to calm the cuticle and promote shine. You can use this treatment as often as you like. YOu can also use it as a regular conditioner.

Oils are great for your hair ends when used on damp hair. Using jojoba oil is best because it is the closest to our own natural sebum and absorbs very quickly into the hair shaft. Unlike silicone, oils wash off very easily. Other good oils for hair are organic coconut, grapeseed, emu, sweet almond oil and extra virgin olive oil.

fourth, you have to get your hair trimmed every 6 weeks to mantain its health.

If you maintain your hair ends, you'll need very few hair trims. I only get my ends snipped twice a year, mainly to help maintain the 'U' shape. Hair grows from the scalp, not the ends.

fifth. take a good vitamin supplement.

Vitamins are a great idea. If you take a daily regimen of supplements, make sure they contain Biotin. The others are Vitamins A,C and E, Vitamin B12(Niacin),Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid), and Vitamin B6.

sixth.dont wash your hair everyday and dont comb it alot.

If you take care of your hair, washing every day doesn't really HARM it, but it's a bit rough on the ends. If your hair is oily, try diluting your shampoo. The sulfates in most shampoos are harsh and very cleansing. Once they strip the oils , your scalp goes into over drive to produce more oils and they do it rather quickly. Thus, you have an oily scalp again soon after washing.

Combing hair with a wide toothed comb is fine. Actually brushing hair, especially when wet, is worse for your hair. I comb my hair quite a few times during the day if I'm wearing it down.

if you follow these tips trust me you will get your hair in wonderful shape and it will prevent hairloss also.

Most hairloss is natural. The hair sheds about 3 times a year, making way for new hair follicles that are pushing their way out. Sometimes changing medications causes hair loss for a time. Stress and sudden changes can cause hair loss. If you are experiencing bald spots, that is the time to see a dermatologist. Don't waste time with a regular MD, they'll just refer you to the Derm.

Thanks for the good tips! I also use my conditioner as a mask each day- I leave it on while I shave my legs and wash up and then wash the conditioner out just before I am ready to get out.

I agree with justgreen about the henna. Henna is a vegetable tint, and coats the hair- therefore it does build up, which can dull the hair and interfere with other chemical processes. Similarly, oil treatments simply coat the hair, and can actually weigh some hair types down. Better to look for treatments that moisturize and hydrate.
