Default Damage from hair dying

Hi
I am naturally blond, but I have been dying my hair dark brown for about the last 10 months. How much is this damaging my hair? Also can dying your hair repeatedly make your hair thinner?

Thanks.

I attached two photos-hair is my natural color; hair1 is my color now

Hair coloring is like any other processing on your hair, but if done correctly it will bring to ill affects unless you have any allergy dyes.
Rule of thumb is as follow, try not to do you color more than every 5-8 weeks. Use a clarifying shampoo two to 3 days before coloring, follow with a good condition pack. Let hair dry naturally if you can, do not use product prior to coloring and do not wash your hair the same day as processing.

Always use a color treatment shampoo, and the worst thing you can do to your dyed locks is Using hot water, shampoo and rinse with tepid water hot just fades your color quickly. And last but not least I having been doing my hair for many years and I know others that have as well and losing your hair is not a problem unless you are doing it like every week or bleaching, and Bleaching should always be done by a Pro not at home. Hope this helps

Thanks so much. When I get my hair dyed I go to a salon because box dyes never stay in my hair. I know I go a lot longer than even 8 weeks usually.
Again thanks for the help.
