my hair is ALWAYS frizzy when i wear my hair curly ( that is my natural hair ), but when im blow dry my and hair and put a flat iron to it, it has no frizz once so ever. So i was wondering if y'all had any ideas on what i should put in my hair when i wear it curly so that i wont have a lot of frizz. please post back. thanks.

I don't like the crunchy feel that most gels leave, so I use a styling cream. My current favorite is Sunsilk Anti frizz 24/7 cream (the green bottle). Another tip you might use (especially if you use gel) is to apply it to your hair while it's still wet, like before you get out of the shower. Blot your hair dry, don't rub, as rubbing will cause frizz.

i guess use a serum, i knw ma aunt (momz sis) uses one by loreal to keep her hair away frm frizz; u just spary it cz itz in water form so no crunchy feel of gels n oily of creams (i feel creams tend to get a bit oily)...or use a frizz defence shampoo....i used one by Pantene n it was pretty gd!
lol srry i mentioned the shampooo's brand as loreal by mistake...

To add to Blackbirds suggestions, never brush your hair when wet, use a pick or a large tooth comb. I use Pantene frizz control, but I must say Blackbird as really got me interested in the Sunsilk Anti frizz 24/7 cream so I just might have to pick up a bottle of this.
Also if you have to dry you hair with a blow dryer do it on a warm not hot setting and use a diffuser.

LOL Judi, I've got you hooked! I keep a wide tooth comb in the shower (in fact, mine's a Conair Shower Comb with a hook on one end to hang over the showerhead), and usually only comb while my hair is coated with conditioner. Once I'm out of the shower, I just run my fingers through it a bit to detangle.

to add to that, don't use those cheap plastic combs, they cause frizziness too. my friends swear by a series of shampoos for curly hair by redken, can't remember the name. you can use styling mousses, gels, or serums to tame the frizziness. use a mask twice a week, like loreal's anti-frizz mask.

I use the Sunsilk line (green) for fizzy hair, I've noticed a difference in my curls. The 24/7 creme doesn't leave your hair crunchy at all.

I HATE frizzy hair too! If you use gel, mousse, or spray in conditioner don't let your hair dry naturally. It will just harden in your hair and it just adds another problem to your hair. You should use any type of shine drops/gloss, or anti-frizz product. Paul Mitchell has a wonderful shine product called "Gloss Drops" or if you want something a little cheaper Got2B has a product called "Silk Drops"-Sheer liquid silk. I love both of these and they do make a difference with frizz. They also work as a barrier against heat damage if you straighten or curl your hair. If you are just going to blow dry your hair use a little before and maybe a little after just for a little extra help. If you are going natural just towel dry hair and apply enough to lightly gloss your hair but not too much to where your hair feels greasy. Using an anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner will also help with calming your frizz.
