hey! well if u want 2 make ure hair trendy i wud go to a gud hair salon and ask them 2 give u a stylish but manageable hair cut. To make ure hair soft and shiny, oil ure hair at least once a week to begin with, using either olive oil or coconut oil. As well as that use a gud shampoo and a gud conditioner to make ure hair more manageable!

I have slightly wavey hair that frizzes out when it's even the least bit humid. This makes my hair super unmanagable. I use Garnier Fructis Style Sleek and Shine Anti-Humidity Smoothing Milk, in the strong formula. It's awsome! I just put it on damp hair, style and let air dry; I don't use a blow dryer or curling iron on my hair for day to day wear. It has a nice natural feel, but holds the style and my hair doesn't frizz out. The best part for me is, I don't have to use a ton of it. Usually, I use a nickel size blob and it does even my uber thick hair. When I go out to the club or other event (not often I have kids LOL) I'll use the blow dryer to style my hair, and touch it up with a curling iron, then hit it with the complimenting hairspray, the light formula. Normally, I try not to plug brands, but this stuff really, really works.
