have you tried the Pantete or the Body shop coconut balm, also John Frieda
Frizz Ease. Let me know what you have tried and I will try to help you find something that will work.

Hey try using Marc Anthony Moisture Gloss syrum. It works well to eliminate frizz, and make your hair shiny!

One of my favorites is the Shine Shock from John Freida's Brilliant Brunette line. It's a "leave-on perfecting glosser" (to quote from the tube itself! LOL)

I've tried all kinds of anti-frizz stuff, but what works best for me is this (I have wavy hair, more on the curly side than most):
Roll outta bed, get in shower. Shampoo hair (you want to use the least amount of shampoo possible...). Then apply a generous amount of conditioner. I think I'm using a pretty cheap brand; L'Oreal or something. Don't let your hair get wet and go about the rest of your business shaving, washing your face, etc. I even GET OUT OF THE SHOWER without rinsing my hair to brush my teeth, pick out my outfit, do whatever. By then it's been a good 20 minutes so I go back in the shower and rinse my hair out in the coldest water I can muster. I then scrunch and apply a bit of gel (b/w the size of a nickle and a quarter) and let air dry indoors. My hair looks gorgeous for the rest of the day... Yeah, humid days will make it a little frizzy (everyone's hair looks a little frizzy if they hang out outside on those kinds of days, especially if you have wavy/curly hair), but in general I find that my process works really well for frizz control when I have the time/feel like going through with it! I've never tried it, but I bet those leave-in overnight conditioner concoctions work even better. For me it's all about getting some moisture in there. Essentially, frizzy hair needs moisture. You can give your hair more moisture through conditioners: wash out, leave-in or deep conditioners. Shampoo dries out hair, and so does chemical treatments, straightening, curling and blow drying.
Make sure you use conditioner every wash (concentrating it on the hair below your ears) and apply a leave-in after each wash as well. - Most conditioners can be used as a leave in as well, so don't spend loads of money on really expensive leave-ins. Again, concentrate the conditioner on the hair below your ears. Try to deep condition your hair once a week. You can buy deep conditioners but I suggest searching online for DCs for frizzy hair that you can make at home. I have found these to be superior to shop bought products. Finally, stop or limit your use of straighteners/curlers as they only cover up damage temportarily and try to let your hair air dry as much as possible. And as bornforthis said, use shampoo sparingly, and concentrate it on your scalp.

It all depends on your hair, I normally wash my hair twice a week maybe more often in the summer. I have fine hair but lots of it and its not dry or oily normal is the best description. I find some of the heavy products way my curls down. That is Why I suggested the above, another one that is good Is Fresh curl by Redken. Hope this helps.

Minerals are needed for our organisms because they stimulate certain activities of our bodies. Calcium, magnesium, manganese and potassium stimulate hair growth. You consume calcium whenever you eat beans, nuts, tofu, fish, brewer's yeast or sesame seeds. Whole grains, wheat germ, nuts, soy beans and green vegetable are great sources of magnesium. Manganese can be found in whole grain cereals, peas, fish, meat and eggs. Avocados contain both magnesium and potassium. To consume potassium you should choose bananas, dates, dried fruits, potatoes, yogurt and brown rice.
Vitamins A, C and E are antioxidants that work to keep scalp healthy. Good sources for vitamin A are spinach, cabbage, broccoli, milk, eggs, cheese, fish liver oil, peaches and apricots. Vitamin C is found in strawberries, citrus fruits, pineapple, potatoes, tomatoes, cantaloupe, dark green vegetables and kiwi. And food sources for vitamin E are soybeans, nuts, dried beans, wheat germ oil, raw seeds, leafy green vegetables and cold-pressed vegetable oils. here you may find some more information on making your hair healthy: http://www.jurgita.com/articles-id2408.html and if your hair is healthy, they won't get frizzy "]] |
