So I'm thinking of breaking out of my 80's 90's and 00's hairdo and I'm thinking about a slight wedge in the back with the front being longer. Anyone know what to call that? I saw a woman at the store and she had the back part died a dark color and the top and front was really blonde. It looked really good on her, I just don't want to go to the stylist and tell her the wrong thing.

It's also known as a stacked bob or an A-line bob.
It's a very popular haircut right now, since Victoria Beckham started wearing it. |

Quote:
yep in britain it's commonly known as the "pob" (posh bob)Just find a picture of posh spice, or search for 'graduated bob' online, and show the pictures to your stylist, that way there's less room for misunderstandings ![]() |

My hairdresser calls it the inverted bob or swing bob. I got mine cut like this about 7 or 8 months ago and I *love* it.
Just so you know though...it's a haircut you need to maintain. You'll probably need to have it cut every 4-6 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows. I need mine cut about every 5 weeks. |
