Default waxing gone bad?

This evening I went to a local spa and got my first bikini wax (a full Brazilian), but I have noticed a large amount of stubble left behind. My hair was the recommended 1/4 inch length before hand, no stubble involved, but it looks as though at least a third of my hairs have broken off instead of being removed at the root. It is not at all the smooth feeling I expected, but rather feels like a few days after shaving.

What happened? Is this normal? Did the technician screw up? What should I do about the left over stubble now?

Please Help!

JKO

Go back and tell them the kind of job was done, they should re book and redo or give you your money back. The job was a bad one.
