Default Au Natural

Well, as you may have known, for the past two years I've been dying my hair madly and styling it in crazy ways. And now, I've decided, seeing as I'm starting highschool, I am going to let my hair grow back to it's natural color and long again. I'm kind of excited; it's a nice break for me and my hair after all this time.

Good luck Tora!
I'm growing mine back out too. It was about mid-back when I cut it short last year, then I cut it in the A-line bob that was super-popular (think Victoria Beckham).
It's been fun having it short, but I'm ready for some length again, so I know how you feel!

Good luck, blackbird! And I agree, I love having short wild hair, but I miss being able to put my hair up in a ponytail and flip it around. I was considering doing another style with it, just a few small layers, but would that be too much? I'd like to get the simple, pretty look.

A lot of it depends on your hair type and texture. I think fine straight hair that hangs in a solid sheet is beautiful. But then, so is a long length of natural wave, or a bounty of wild curls! LOL Some people like a bit of layers to give a bit of texture. Personally, for my own hair, it's too thick when it's long to do well with layers, they just look choppy and unorganized. I have layers now, so I know once I get a good length growing I'll probably be getting regular trims until all the layers are gone.

Being able to put it back in a ponytail and get it out of my way is one of the things I've missed the most!

I agree! Having it medium length is annoying after a while, because you cant pin it up OR pull it back!
