Default Giving my hair abit more attention

Having a rather tight budget it's impossible for me to buy expensive hair products so I'm looking for tips on how to spoil my hair "the cheap way", so to say with things you can find at home. I'm growing it out and want to take good care of it so I don't end up with a hair that looks dead.

My hair is dyed very blonde but seems to handle all these chemical quite well so far. I've got LOTS of hair, it's really thick, and totally straight. No curls here what so ever. When I was younger I used to say it looked like the mane on a horse. I guess you could say it's normal to oily.

I want to be known as the girl with the lovely blonde hair and not as the girl with the split ends. So what's good to use if I want to spoil my hair a little??? I really want that perfect blonde hair

A really nice pampering hair thing is using honey as a conditioner, makes your hair v soft (and smells nice too!!)

Yep, I agree with Rose. - Mix some honey into your regular conditioner (use quite a thick one) and leave it on your hair for half an hour or so. It's really good for shine and dry ends. You could also try aloe vera gel mixed with the honey+conditioner.

I tried the honey thing yesterday, and my hair actually looked more shining
Thanks for the tip Rose and Mette!

I rinse my hair with apple cider vinegar mixed with water once a week, I also rinse my hair with chamomile tea once a week to brighten up my blonde hair and I also put jojoba oil on my dry ends (Blackbird gave me this tip)

Great tips!
The only ones I haven't tried is coconut oil or chamomile tea, primarily because I don't have any of either one on hand. LOL But they should do a good job as well.

The local health food store is where I get mine, I'm not too sure about sweden though. You can definitely get it over the internet as well (if you decide to do this I recommend the 'desert essence' brand).

I use aloevera, take a leaf from outer side, cut the ends to remove the green sticky water in it.
with a good knife slice the leaf and scoop out the transparent flesh. take care to avoid the green color gel at the end of the leaf it is harmful.

now blend in a blender the transparent flesh, apply to hair for an hour. wash off.
it is really messy to wash as the flesh lumps remain sticking to the hair. dont worry when the hair is dry, the lumps dry too and fall off.
