Default help my curls won't stay in

I have long blond hair with highlights, I use hot rollers daily for work . My hair looks great for about half of the day, need ideals on what to try to help my curls last all day. My hair is thick with lots of layering I work in a hospital as a nurse and don't lke always putting my hair up or in a ponytail towards the end of my shift. Would love ideals on maybe a new style to wear my hair in. I spray my hair with hairspray before I roll each section and re spray after taking my curlers out. This is my first post and Iwould love to get lots of ideals. Thanks Steve

Try using a spray gel before you roll. There are lots of curling products that are at wal-mart that should help. It's hard to find them cause the names sound like they are for people with naturally curly hair, so you have to read to find them. I have the same problem you do and I found this has helped alittle. Also stick with the hairspray, just use it after you take them out. Use a diffuser attachment on a blowdryer, put it on cool, and gently cool down your hair with this, the cool air helps set the curl before it gets weighed down. Hope this helps!

if you brush your hair after try using a tooth comb with big gaps inbetween, these help the curls look neater and stay in longer unlike brushes they brush them out and make them frizzy. try using a styling spray instead of hairspray.

Thanks for the advice on my curls I found a product called curls taht VO5 makes and muse for curls also. I sprayed each section before rolling and left my rollers in 5 minutes longer than usual this morning and my curls were awesome, I also used a wider tooth comb and got a different look than normal which I also love. You can't believe how good my curls stayed in today and the several compliments from co workers about my new look.. Thanks again to all my new girlfriends. Steve

I'm so glad you found something that works! I am gonna go shoppin' tomorrow and pick these up! I am kind of experimenting now with the beachy-wave look and I found that sunsilk makes a great spray for this, it gives you that sexy mussed up look. I have gotten alot of compliments on it. TTYL!
