Default ugh fluffy hair

Hey I'm new to this stuff... but perhaps you ladies can help me with my hair problem!

I have long dark beautiful hair. I never use heat on my hair. I only use shampoo and conditioner, no other products after I get out of the shower. But when I do get out of the shower and my hair dries... it's so frizzy and fluffy and damaged looking! I have thick straight hair. I've tried using no-frizz products but they don't seem to work to well. I'm at my wits end as to what I need to do so it's not so fluffy! If I shower then go to sleep(on wet hair), I wake up with flat yet slighty wavy hair that's soft not fluffy hair... I just want that if I shower in the day!

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

i envy you. i have the long hair but it is silver and dark blonde!! you also must have some curl to your hair, that is why it frizzes. sunsilk shampoo and conditioner for frizzy hair is good. my granddaughter has curly hair and she hates it so she uses sunsilk. there are other things you can do. there are spritzers of silicones that calm frizzies. also keep combing your hair until it is almost dry. i know this is a pain but it helps the frizzies. turn the ends under as you use your free hand to smooth after combing thru. my grandaughter is 13! she is picky. hope i helped. let me know if any of this helped you.

You could also use a little oil like jojoba on the ends, applied sparingly so you don't get an oil slick.
You might have naturally wavy hair. I thought all my life that I just had disobedient hair, until I grew it out a few years ago and let it air dry. Turns out my hair was wavy all those years, and I was just trying to beat it into submission! LOL I had always blowdried and ironed or curled it, I didn't know it had natural texture to it.
