Default hair stylists?!!!

my mom wants to take me to a professional hair stylist one more expensive i guess then u kno mastercuts or costcutters because ive had the same hair style since like forever and she wants me to get sumthing different and I want sumthing different! i dunno if anyone here is a hair stylist if u are then u would probably be the best person to answer this question but are there like machines where they take a picture of you and then they can find you perfect hair cut?!! thats what my mom said and i just wanted to see if its true..

my second question is what is the best cut if ne of u off the top of ur head have a website or kno..would be for a oval shaped face with kinda thin hair(depends on the day...lol..sumtimes its thin and sumtimes it has a thickness to it)..

THANK YOU!!

Now at day there are stylist that use you picture and show you what different styles would suit you as well as color. Look around in the yellow pages and you should see ads for this service, Under beauty or hair salons.
Another place is www.ivillage.com they have a shorten version there where you can upload a picture and try some styles but to get the whole version you have to pay.

You are very fortunate to Have a oval face you can wear almost any style, you have what we call a hair dresser dream. You sound like you have hair like mine, fine but lots of it. Again the stylist should be able to judge your hair and tell you what they think might be the easiest for you to style and upkeep.
Hope this helps. Let me know. Chow

Although both stylists would have gone through the same basic training and are equally licensed by their state, typically a more "professional" stylist is more experienced and so is better able to look at your face shape and hair length and texture and then reccommend a style for you that will work for you. It's just something that comes with practice and experience.
keep us posted on how it goes!
