what is your current hair style/color?

Last summer I cut my almost waist-length hair back about 6 or 7 inches to just above bra-strap length with a few layers in it. About 2 months ago, I decided I didn't like the layers, and had it cut to the shortest layer, which is just below shoulder. It's taken some getting used to, but I like it at this length. My hair is very thick and wavy, but I usually blowdry it out since I cut it. (you can see my pic in my profile, but I'm considering growing out my bangs now, LOL)

Any way, it's made me think a lot about different hair lengths and styles, so I'm curious what everyone else has.
What is your hair style, color and length?

My hair is brown and long, to just about the middle of my back. I am going to go and get it cut to shoulder length with layers soon though. It needs more style.

my hair is dark brown long- layered with sun-induced red/orange highlights but on Wednesday I am going in to have it coloured dark brown and shorten my layers- can't wait

Me too... I wanted to do the same thing, but I'll have to wait another month or so to get it done as it's expensive for me here. Scully if you don't mind, could you let me know roughly how much it would cost there for it, at a reputed salon? Over here in UAE it will cost me around USD150-USD200 (equivalent)...

My hair is just past my shoulders, layered, feathered and side fringe.

Blackbird, if you use straightening irons it could get make your hair look thinner if you would like it like that. It will smooth your hair out.

By the time I finish blowdrying it, I just want out of that over-heated bathroom! LOL Kidding!
I've straightened it a few times, but really I don't mind it being thick and wavy, although when it was really long it was very heavy.

hey Madeupgirl! I'm predicting that it will cost me about $40-45 to colour it the one solid shade and then another $30-35 to cut but I will let you know Wednesday when I come back. I could prob colour it myself for much cheaper but I have a lot of hair and it's long and I'm lazy and I want to be pampered!

well, just to follow up- it cost me $73 to colour and cut-no stlye. It turned out just like I wanted it!
