Okay, I have red hair, naturaly curly but I gel it flat.
I would like to get a punk look with this hair, any ideas??

okay well if you want the punkish spikey-like look,
and since straightening with gel isnt an issue,
just get it cut shorter.
and when you put the gel in to straighten it
rub your hands across your head really fast!
and rough it up basically,

Yes it did help as a matter of fact! Ive actually got my hair in a faux hawk now, and its really cool! Ill post some pictures later.
