Default French Tips
I heard that when you do french tips it actually spoils the front of your nail. is this true.

or am i just tripping

If you are talking about the nail kits for nail painting the answer is no,
if you are meaning the acrylic or gel yes.

I agree with Judi. Gels or acrylics will ruin your natural nails, but just painting them with a French tip color kit shouldn't harm them.
