Homemade Wax in 5 easy steps!

What you'll Need

1 cup sugar (small)

1/2 cup of lemon juice

and

1/2 cup of lime Juice

How to Make It
Step 1: Combine all the ingredients into the pot and stir.
Step 2: Keep stirring as the heat continues rise so that the mixture (wax) will not burn.


Step 3: Put a DROP of wax in a glass filled with water. If the drop dissolves that means that the mixture (wax) needs to be stirred some more. Give it a few more minutes.

-BUT

If you can see the drop of wax settle to the bottom of the glass filled with water that means the wax is ready!

Step 4: Store wax in container preferably one that can be sealed.

Step 5: Heat up wax in the microwave for about 15 to 20 seconds when you're ready to use!

*Always apply talcum powder before applying wax.
*NEVER EVER ADD WATER!!

thanks! i'm a little confused as to what this means:

are you referring to the sugar and lemon mixture as "wax"? if you are, do you just put it in an empty glass or something?

Also, when you mean 1/2 cup lemon and lime juice, do you mean:
1/2 cup of lemon juice and
1/2 cup of lime juice

or

1/4 cup of lemon juice and
1/4 cup of lime juice

here's another one just in case :-)

*Homemade wax*

Ingredients:
2 cups brown sugar
¼ cup water
¼ cup lemon juice

Method:
Pour the sugar, water and lemon juice all together in a saucepan, and heat it over a low flame. Keep stirring the mixture to avoid burning. Stir it until all the sugar has melted, and you have a thick brown liquid. Let it cool slightly before using it. It can be stored in a heat proof container for later use.

Store it in fridge. It can be easily warmed up in the microwave.

It a natural home made wax that can be used for waxing for arms, legs, underarms, upper lips and eyebrows.
