Putting raw potato slices on your eyes or kiwi to help remove darkness and swelling.

LOLZZ

I like vaseline but I've heard mixed things about it. . . some say it's bad for your skin?

Regardless, a friend of mine from high school swore by vaseline mixed with sugar. She would dab a small bit of vaseline on her finger and sprinkle sugar over it until a good amount stuck. She then gently rubbed the mixture into her lips to take off any dry, cracked skin that had accumulated. I have to admit she had very soft looking lips but I've never actually tried her trick. . . I'd almost forgotten about it until reading this post!

Note to self - try vaseline and sugar mixture sometime in the near future

I keep hearing about wine and fermented grapes being wonderful for your skin...i am definitely gonna try this one. I love that it only uses 1/4 cup of wine, too, so you can drink the rest. hehehehehehhehe

Best mask/scrub:

A few (5-10) uncoated aspirin tablets mixed with a little warm water until they turn into a paste. Rub this mixture on your skin and leave it on for 10-20 minutes. Rinse well. Your skin will be soft, pore shrunk and it keeps acne and pimples at bay. Recommended as a weekly treatment.

Variations: use rose water to dissolve the aspirin. or mix a little aloe vera gel into the mix after the aspirin has dissolved. fabulous!

My favorite is Buttermilk hair mask. After shampoo, towel dry. Saturate with buttermilk and then put on shower cap. Leave on for a minimum of 15minutes.
Rinse well with lukewarm water. Towel dry, comb gently with wide-toothed comb. Leaves hair so silky and shiney! Feels heavenly healthy!
