Default Hi all new here...gotta a question too

Hello everyone,

I'm new here and have been browsing for a few hours. I'm 26 and I currently live in Dallas...I love it here so far

I do have a question though that I just can't seem to find an answer for anywhere, it may be on here already but....

I have a problem with dark circles and really puffy eyes, somewhat hereditary i'm sure but every eye cream I try to use I get really bad headaches from...I have tried just about everything they sell at walmart and the only two that do not cause me headaches so far are Radiance Boost eye cream by Neutrogena and Skin Renewal anti-puff roller from Garnier Nutrioniste..they do work a little but not much, can anyone recommend something else I can try? I am assuming it is something in the ingredient list that is causing the headaches but I even tried the Positively Ageless eye cream from Aveeno, supposed to be gentle and natural and it gives me headaches so bad I wanna cry and no amount of head ache medicine will take them away. I was going to see a dermo but I am really strapped for cash and just tired of looking like a puffed up zombie everyday...please help, all advice is welcome at this point.

Thanks everyone....

Welcome to the forums, try raw potato slices or kiwi fruit slices. also cold tea bags.
also you could try Jamison natural products, Derm-e, or say yes to carrots all natural.

I've heard good things about the Say Yes to Carrots line, I've seen it at Walgreens. I know Burt's Bees has some skincare items, as well which would be all natural. Maybe by switching to a natural product line you might be able to avoid whatever it is that causes the headaches.

This may be a totally stupid question, but...

Have you confirmed that it is indeed the eye creams that are causing the headaches? In other words, if you don't use an eye cream the headaches stop?

I ask because - though I'm not a doctor - it sounds as though you might be having sinus trouble. That would certainly explain the headaches, and swelling in the sinuses would probably aggravate the appearance of puffy eyes.

If, on the other hand, you promptly see an improvement in the headaches when you stop using eye creams...well then I am genuinely stumped!

Sorry for the delayed reply, I was in the process of moving and had no internet for a bit...however that's not a stupid question as I wondered the same thing for a while but I do only get headaches when I use eye creams. It's seems like anything that isn't organic and all natural gives me headaches. The organic creams do not seem to have an effect on my bag or circles though so I am starting to wonder if they are from some kind of sinus blockage (if that doesn't sound too stupid lol) They have gotten worse over the years to the point where I look I have been punched in the eyes, i'm not sure what causes them at all i'm just trying process of elimination so to speak but considering I can't deal with the headaches to see if those other eye creams would help I guess i'm at a stale mate, unless anyone else has any suggestions.
