Default Eye Shadow problem

I have seen when other girls wear eye shadow you can see it realy dark and from faraway, but when i apply eye shadow it is less visable even a metre away.
Why is that?.....

It could also depend on what brushes you use to apply the eyeshadow. Generally sponge-tip applicators give a thicker application of colour, while brushes are more subtle. You could also use eyeliner instead of or as well as eyeshadow, because you have more control of the application of colour with eyeshadow.

That's what we Pro's do before shoots. And it works.

I've lots of people rave about *Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion* which is £9.50 from Boots. Or you can get it here if you're from the US.
http://urbandecay.com/categories/205.cfm also product info
I'm thinking about getting it.

You should add shimmer, its a really good way to make it stand out. I recomend a pink sparkly eyeshadow, and with a brush brush it down the sides of your eyes. Its tops!

Shimmer is great for nights and special occasions but it sometimes can look pretty Goddy if used in bright day light, I usually mix it a bit with a matte color so it does stand out like a neon light in the day.
