Exclamation How to conceal dark eye circles

I have really bad dark eyes circles and they have been bothering me for ages. I don't dare to wear contacts in fear of exposing my awful circles. Does anyone know the trick to really conceal them? I tried using normal concealer but it doesn't help.

I came across a kind of concealer which is made up of five different shades of colours including red. I'm wondering if thats any difference from normal one shade concealer. I won't know how to blend the colours in anyway.

So please please help me with my dark eyes circles. I saw a photo of Tyra Banks without makeup and well I suppose her dark eyes circls are rivals with mine. Haha. But then, when she is up on screen, she looks flawless! Aw, someone please help...

Thanks.

P.S: I'm an Asian by the way which means I have yellow based skin.

Chiselle.

Default darkness under the eyes

Use a proper concealer. Test out the best colors at a department store counter or at Sephora. (Tip: Tell the makeup artist you are looking to correct the undereye circles and are testing several different types before purchase). Choose concealer that's a shade lighter than your foundation. And if your circles are very dark, go 2 shades lighter. You might be choosing a concealer that's too light if you are getting a 'raccoon look.'

Laser treatment If you have a chronic case of undereye circles, you should contact a doctor about lasers. Lasers can thicken the skin by increasing collagen production, so you are less likely to see veins, according to Los Angeles facialist Kate Somerville in June 2005 issue of InStyle magazine.

i hope it helps

Yes, there are a lot of concealer and corrector wheels out there, most lines are starting to carry them and to the average consumer, can be intimidading.

Just like Jessy suggested, ask the BA exactly what does each shade correct from the wheel. And how to apply it. You might just need one shade for your concealer needs.

If that's the case, it might be more practical just to purchase a 'single' or pot of the concealer shade instead of the wheel.

It's called 'Reverse Raccoon Eyes'.

If you can't find a BA who can help you, I recommend finding a Make-up Artist with FILM experience in the Yellow Pages under 'Agencies', find 'Hair and Make-up'.

Call them and book a consultation with an Artist.

They will help you in technique and in application.
