Electric Blue
To add a blue hue to your party makeup, start by lining your upper and lower lashes with a black eyeliner. Add a hint of electric blue shadow to the outer corners of your eyelid, then blend. Or you can try adding some blue shimmer over the top of smokey eyeshadow.
Dramatic eyeliner
Start with your subtle smoky look and work your way up to super-heavy eyeliner. Start by thickly lining the roots of your upper lashes, then do the same with your bottom lashes. Let the end of the eyeliner meet the top eyeliner at the outer corner. Then, using a cotton bud and lightly smudge the eyeliner to create a softer effect and follow with a coat of thickening mascara.
Get the look: Pretty
Try some pretty-girl-curls with hot rollers and after washing your hair, work in some curling product and follow up by rolling in the curlers once they're warm. After pinning them into place, leave for around 30 minutes or until your hair dries, then spray with hairspray for extra staying power. After that, just pin in a pretty flower clip and you're done!

Want your eyes to 'pop', but don't have time to fuss with an eyelash curler? Use a mascara that curls your lashes for you! For instant big eyes, look out for mascara specially made for curling your lashes.
Liquid eyeliner
A dramatic look to complement your falsies. Remember to line your upper lid only. Do a practise run with pencil eyeliner first and then go over with the liquid pen.
False eyelashes
This 60s look ties into the big hair and pale pink lips, but save 'em for the big occasions — formals, fancy dress or weddings. It's a theatrical look and not for the daytime.

Ace your face: eyes
To apply an eyeliner pencil to the roots of your lashes, you want to use the pencil nice and close to where your lashes start. If you do it any higher, when you open your eyes you'll notice a gap between your lashes and the eyeliner.
How to: placing a finger near the end of your eyelid, gently pull towards the side of your face so that your eyelid has almost formed a straight line. (Keep your other eye open so you can see what you're doing.) Now apply your eyeliner pencil by lightly tracing the roots of your lashes (be careful if the pencil is quite sharp). Open your eye, and if you want it to be thicker, repeat.
The tools: The eyelash curler This nifty tool curls your lashes upwards, making your eyes look totally glam. Make sure you always apply mascara after curling, not before.
