My skin isnt that bad because ive been doing a lot of exercise and taking care of it and it is much clearer. however there are still some imperfections. my problem is everytime i apply foundation no matter what brand i try, it looks chalky and dry( i have dry skin) tips on applying foundation and what tools to use to apply and tips to cover naturally. thanks

well....you can try to use a creamier foundation. for me, loreal true match foundation works wonders for me, it doesn`t turn chalky. as for the application, remember use a light hand. you can use your fingers or a spongue and blend it really well. you`ll be amaze how a little foundation can cover a lot of your face. i hope this helps...

Yes, cream or oil-based foundation would be good for u. try Origins-stay tuned balanceing face maukup, it provides a kind of matt coverage without the caked-on makeup. Clinique superbalanced makeup is also good. these both are cream foundation good for dry skin. see how you go!

Moisturise your skin well before applying foundation and allow it to be absorbed well. Dot your face with minimum amount of foundation needed for good coverage starting with your cheeks and very softly blend to your skin. Do not forget to apply on your neck and the area under the jawline. You can use your fingers, a sponge or even a brush to do it as you wish.
Under eyes can be taken care of with a concealer and not foundation imo. Hope this helps....

Make sure you have clean hands and a clean face. Apply a moisturizer that's perfect for your skin type. All foundations will go on more smoothly if the skin is well-hydrated. Let the moisturizer set for a few minutes. Using a makeup sponge or the tips of your fingers, apply dots of foundation on your cheeks, chin, forehead and tip of the nose. Using the sponge or your fingertips, blend the dots together. Set the foundation with loose powder immediately after application.
