Question eyeshadow.....in the eye?

I hate putting on eyeshadow because it always "goes into my eyes"
and then my eyes hurt, I use a primer, but it never works, it stays on for like, the first hour, and then everything creases... -.-; this one girl says I put too much on, but what is a girl supposed to do if the color doesnt come up good?

any suggestions? or anything? help? <3
I heard M.A.C was good, but then again, I heard bed head was good and I used that and it didnt do crap!
bleh...

First, moisturize the area with an eye cream. Then use concealor (remember not too much) around the eye. What I normally do is use a 'off white' or a pale colour as a base shadow and then use a darker shadow near the crease of the eye lid and blend it well, ending up with a lighter colour near the brow bone. (hope you understand what I mean)

Hope this helps...

Btw, both brands you've mentioned, are good. It's all about HOW you apply your make-up...

MAC is terrific. Every eyeshadow i tried, it creased, and MAC is the only one that doesnt crease. Go out, and pick one MAC eyeshadow, and give it a try. If you like it, buy more, if not, its only one eyeshadow, and you can send it to me **wink wink nudge nudge** lol

All great advice ladies, I will just add to it. I use a concealer or primer before eyeshadow, I also find that when you go to apply the powder to tap excessive of your brush or swab help to get a more even color and gets rids of little specs of it getting in your eyes.

MAC eyeshadow is awesome.
I don't think it can 'not work'.

I'm not sure where you get it in the US.

I know they sell MAC in department stores. The Macy's here has a MAC counter.

Not 100% but I'm pretty sure Ulta does not sell MAC.

If you are using an eyeshadow primer, don't use a moisturizer on your lids or your eyeshadow will not last. I made the same mistake you did and then someone told me not to moisturize the lid. I use the Urban Decay Primer Potion and it works great. Also Stila e/s are gorgeous and are really pigmented. Gloss.com also sells Mac.
