I think I posted a list here somewhere listing as many of the MMU's that you can get online. I'll have to search for it.
Beware of any MMU's that you can 'feel' on your face. MMU should feel invisible, no itching or such. I've tried quite a few of them, but my favorites are Everyday Minerals, Larinem, and some of the BE stuff. Everyday Minerals will send you a free kit (five items of your choice) and all you pay is the $3.50 shipping. Plus you can order another sampler with different shades. The veil is a finishing powder than mainly helps the MMU stay in place and not on your clothes. If you notice a glow on your nose and gently apply a kleenex to blot with, you'll not see any make up on the kleenex. Also, if you'll barely dampen your fingertips and tap them over your face after applying the MMU, that helps it set and gives it a more natural look. As for primer, make sure the one you use does not have silicone in it. These products do not allow the MMU to melt into your skin properly. Don't be afraid, pore wise, the MMU is much safer and better for you than regular foundation. It has no chemicals or harmful additives to it. I usually use a veil for a primer and then build on that. I'm very oily, I've been using bare minerals for the past couple of weeks & it's really good at keeping my oiliness under better control. And it is in fact the mineral that does the job of keeping oil down. I do still use blot sheets a couple of times a day, but I rarely have to retouch my makeup, which I love. I do know some people who just use the mineral veil alone to keep their oil in control.

I just wanted to add that I get mine at the Ulta near me. And someone recently told me (but I haven't gone for myself yet to see if it's true) that they are putting Sephora's in all JC Penny stores, so if you have a JC Penny near you go check it out!

Ocean Mist Cosmetics, my personal choice for mineral makeup, has a sampler package (which I have gotten). All you pay for is shipping and the samples are very generous! One of the samples is a mineral veil. I would try it out. It cost me $3.72 for all of my samples. I ordered them 1 month ago and there is still A LOT left in my favorite color foundation sample that I use everyday.

I assume you're referring to every day minerals..........to my knowledge the sample didn't include a finishing powder (aka mineral veil)...........

Here's a cross-post from another thread, I ended up giving mineral makeup another try, and so far I'm liking it............
cross-post: Okay, after all the rave reviews I decided to give mineral makeup another try. I'd tried some of the drugstore varieties, but they aren't strictly mineral, and I just wasn't happy with it. I'd tried samples I'd ordered over the internet, but wasn't happy with that, either. I ended up trying the Savvy Mineral Makeup from Sally Beauty Supply. The packaging claims to have the Mineral Veil incorporated into the foundation. So far (about 3 weeks now), I've been satisfied with this foundation, and that really surprised me! I really thought I wasn't going to like it. I'm not getting too much oily breakthrough during the day, and what I'm getting I can control with blotting papers and perhaps a light dusting of foundation, but it doesn't look built-up. This summer, I may try adding a seperate Mineral Veil or oil-control primer if I get too oily (July and August are really tough!) I will say however, that there is one more thing that has really made a huge difference for me this time around. I bought a different brush. There's a nice brush included in the kit from Sally, but I'm using it for a bronzer brush rather than for foundation. I bought a good kabuki brush, and that has really made a difference in the application process. It goes on so much smoother and more evenly with a kabuki brush, and I can buff until it's almost invisible!
