I do it when I run out of tinted or when I just want to add a light illumination to my face I mix it with my skin cream.

Yeah, it's fine to do this- useful for travelling, just mix it up before you go and you will have a 2-in-1 product!

Actually, I've heard this tip before, it's been around for a long time. Feel free to experiment.

Most likely.
Maybe it's because in using a mixture of the two, you were using a little less of each than you normally do?

Smile Alot of makeup artists do it

When they mix the two "they" are usually going for a lighter coverage.DuWop is famous for their tinted moisturizer. They are the CO. that makes lip venom.I have never tried the T.M. but I always hear raves about that product. I think your fond. stays on better because moisturizer "sinks" into the skin and the hydration just plain helps foud. look better. I have a day cream W/spf 30,it has melinine(what makes our skin the color it happens to be)so it adjusts to your skin tone.It really balances out my skin(redness, etc.)I love it if I'm just running around, walking dog,or working out,in place of foun.It is a little expensive but does last ALONG time! It,s called DR.Denese spf 30 defense day cream. Mabey I will start a link on DR. D's products, see what others think, skincare link, Hope some info was helpful???

I do it everyday. I use Burts Bees tinted moisturizer, put a dot on my hand, put some of my Kiehls moisturizer into it, mix it around and put it on. My skin feels great and the Burts Bees goes on really smoothly.
