Just wanted to know, are there any colors which some people should not wear?
What are your views and thoughts about it? |

I think its the matter of 'shade' rather than the 'color'. You should be particularly careful in choosing the right shade for yourself.
For example, everyone can wear red lipstick, but in different shades. A pale-skinned blonde will suit a soft pink-red, where as a warm-toned redhead will be able to carry off an orange-based fiery shade of the color. Hope this is of some help to you. |

If you are a blue-eyed, cool-skinned blonde; you can carry off a pale pastel, baby blue eyeshadow. And if you are a brunette; you will look much better wearing a darker version to complement your skin-tone.

There are two types of people; warm toned people and cold toned people. As a general, as Angela said, redheads have warm skintones. Warm skintones suit warmer colours better such as those with a brown or yellow undertone whereas cool skinned people suit cooler colours such as navy blue or ice blue. That said, sometimes changing your palette can create a really dramatic effect if its only for one part of your look (such as a warm tone using dramatic black eyeliner with their normal warmer tones)
