Default Emphasising Brown Eyes?

Hey!

I have dark brown eyes, and when I go out I like to emphasise them by using a vibrant pink (like the one used in the almay intense range), peach or gold shadow with very light smokey black or brown liner and mascara. I was wondering if anyone has any other suggestions, as I'm getting a bit bored with these combinations?

Thanks! Xxxxxxx

I too have dark brown eyes and I've been using Estee Lauder eye shadows. I tend to gravitate to the pinks and greens because they do accentuate my brown eyes . It's a little pricey but I get wonderful results.

I have hazel/brown eyes and I prefer MAC's Shroom as the highlighter with a deep violet/plum as the darker color (ie MAC's Beauty Marked). If you look at the Almay color groupings for brown eyes, they suggest peach, brown and violet tones.

sapphire blue or forest green are good shades for emphasizing brown eyes.

Women with brown eyes are very lucky as virtually every eyeshadow color under the sun will looking stunning with brown eyes. Jewel tones are also gorgeous on brown eyes. To really bring out different colors and dimensions from your eyes, you should take note of the following:

1) Are you brown eyes "cool" or "warm" brown?

2) Cool colored brown eyes are almost black brown eyes or brown eyes with little "silver" specks. If your eyes are super dark brown, again, you can wear any color eyeshadow and it will look lovely. If you have small silver specks, try wearing shades of silver, ice blue, lavendar, etc. to really bring those shimmery specks out. If you have warm brown eyes that range from dark brown eyes with little gold flecks to warm honey colored eyes, anything in the warm color family will look amazing (thinks browns, bronzes, peaches, mochas, etc.)

But again, you can wear any color eyeshadow and it will enhance your eyes and look lovely. Makeup is all about having fun and trying new things. Have fun!

Gold looks really lovely on brown eyes, you could jazz up the pink you use by maybe having pink on the lid and a gold liner underneath, or gold on the inner corner and pink on the outer corner.

I love purple on brown eyes! Also, deep greens and bronze-orange!
