Eyeliner problem(?)

hello , its been a long time since i haven't been at this forum ^^ . anyways, the problem is: does applying eyeliner on the pink liner is where you applied at? or where your lower lashes is? 'cause i've been using eyeliner on the pink liner for so long and my friend told me not to do that.. i don't know what's the reason. . if you guys know what's the reason to not applying the pink liner, please tell me . thank you very much! (also , does applying eyeliner(liquid or pencil) ruin your eye or anything? and pink liner? )

I think I know what your talking about...
The reason is you can clog your tear duct or get an infection.
However I have been lining there ever since I started to wear eyeliner and have never had a problem

Lining the inner rim of your eye could lead to eye infection.

The trick is not to let your inner rim liner touch or get into the tear duct area.

Just stop short of your tear duct.
