Hey! Here are some beauty tips I picked up:
For Lips: -Put concealer on and around your lips before applying lip color. It will make it look better and stay longer -For extra shine, put a little clear lip gloss on top of lip color -I always like to use clear lip liner. It doesn't look too harsh, and it stops color from feathering For Hair: -Rinse hair with Vinegar or soak hair in Olive Oil once a month for extra shine -To get extra body, flip hair upside down and blow dry until it is about 70% dry. Then flip hair back up and let the rest air dry. -I learned this from a hair stylist that does celebrities hair: Don't make your hair stick straight. Hair that has bends in it makes you look younger. -If you have very short hair and want to get messy, beach hair, work a small amount of texturizer through your hair, but DON'T comb it through or else you'll loose the look For Skin: -NEVER pop a pimple, it can scar and lead to even more pimples! - Don't let your hair get in your face-it can make your skin dirty and greasy, and it can cause pimples -NEVER rub. It will lead to wrinkles. -ALWAYS moisturize your skin! It is one of the best things you can do, and it takes about 10 seconds Hope this was helpful!!! ![]() |

I have another one to add to my list:
-Always bring out either your eyes or your lips. NEVER BOTH!!! ![]() |

It depends on how you do it. On my prom I had quite a heavy make up. Like Jean Harlow (actress from the 30's), lots of dark eyeshadow, fake eyelashes and lipstick, and I thought it looked v. good. But I can wear a lot of make up, it doesn't look as strange on me as it would do on some of my friends.

Inoo-Yah, on me it would look really strange. I always either do dark eyes and neutral lips or dark lips and neutral eyes. But I guess it depends on who it is.

I generally adhere to the "play up one feature rule", but black lined eyes with plenty of mascara and red, shiny lips for special ocassions looks great on most people. Some tips (none earth shattering) For the lips to be pouty and fuller, line lightly, then apply lipstick. Take a dab of a lighter lipstick and apply just to the middle of the lower lip. Apply lip gloss to this section of the lip, blending it in well. Leave the top lip unglossed. It really creates the sultry bottom lip! Practice makes perfect when using white eyeliner the right way, combined with black mascara and perhaps dark liner, to open the eye area up a lot. Another well-known one is to finish off all eye makeup with a light shade strip down the eye, from bone to lid, to further widen the area and blend everything in, drawing attention to the center of the eye. Never apply blush toward the temple to where it reaches the middle of the eye or above, as this makes the eyes seem smaller and can accentuate wrinkles, puffiness, or imperfections. Apply blush last (well, before powder). If you put on the eye makeup and lips first, you generally end up applying less blush to look right. Applying blush beforehand can result in too much blush, causing you to remove some later. I know this sounds strange, but Victoria Jackson preaches this, and I've always found it to be true. If you have a wide nose, avoid full, straight bang styles. Last edited by JCFantasy23 : 03-27-2008 at 03:07 AM. |

I heard that if you want to pop your pimple and don't want a scar on your face you simple use cue-tips.But make sure you don't sqeeze it until it bleeds because then it might scar.
