Default Covering A Cold Sore?

I have a big cold sore right below my bottom lip, and I've tried covering it up, but nothing really works. If I just put make up over it, it's not red anymore, but you can still see the bump, and it looks even worse. I know I probably shouldn't be trying to cover it up, I'm sure it's not healthy, but I have a job interview and I want to look decent. So any advice would be highly appreciated!

Other than concealer, I don't know of any other way.

Prevention mouthwash is good for cold sores and other mouth irritations. Gets rid of them in a few days.

Try using a warm teabag as a compress and hopefully it will help the swelling subside.

also, have you ever heard of a cream called Abreva? It gets rid of a cold sore in 3 days and reduces the pain and swelling right away. It's worth a try!
